“You obviously need to see it from his [Mohammed Kudus’] perspective, but it’s not easy, though it was definitely a chance,” admitted Ferguson.

You know what, that was really refreshing to hear.

The fact that Ferguson suggested Kudus missed a ‘definite chance’ says a lot about his mentality.

Usually footballers reel off a load of old meaningless rubbish in support of their teammates.

Mohammed Kudus should have scored that chance against Brentford, and Evan Ferguson would have loved an opportunity like that.

I believe that the 20-year-old will be a very big hit at the London Stadium.

He has the talent and mindset needed to go on and reach the very top of the game.
