Erik ten Hag has fired an ominous warning to West Ham in response to Roy Keane on Man United plans this week.
West Ham fans could sit back and watch the Carabao Cup final between Manchester United and Newcastle with a rare felling of contentment following the emphatic 4-0 win over Forest at the weekend.
Now West Ham’s focus turns to Wednesday’s big game against Man United at Old Trafford in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
David Moyes and his players will – like Hammers fans – undoubtedly have watched the Man United celebrations at Wembley hoping the same thing.
That those celebrations continued long into the night and result in a cup hangover when West Ham head north to face the Red Devils in two days.

But no such luck it seems.
Because Erik ten Hag fired an ominous warning to West Ham in response to Roy Keane on his Man United plans.
Ten Hag was speaking to former Man United captain Keane on Sky Sports after the game as his players celebrated their first trophy under him – and first for five years – on the pitch in the background.
And Keane asked whether the manager and his players would be indulging in some celebratory champagne after the victory. Moyes and his Hammers players would have been sat with their fingers crossed.
But Ten Hag’s response was ominous for West Ham.

“Me and my staff yes!” Ten Hag told Keane on Sky Sports.
“My players no, we have a very big game on Wednesday, a big game against West Ham. And we need to focus. So my players, no.”
The fifth round clash between Man United and West Ham kicks off at 7.45pm on Wednesday night and will be shown live on ITV1 and ITVX.
With another huge Premier League game away at bogey team Brighton on Saturday and the first leg of their Europa League last 16 tie away to Larnaca next week, Moyes may have to shuffle his West Ham pack to rest some key players at Old Trafford.
