West Ham United have had to deal with some serious injury problems this season.
However, this time it is a forgotten man at the London Stadium who is going through the mill will hugely frustrating fitness troubles.
Graham Potter would do well to bring younger, more powerful and physically robust players to West Ham this summer.
The good news is that Potter is said to be planning on doing exactly that at West Ham in the summer transfer window.

The Hammers absolutely cannot be entertaining the thought of signing more injury prone players during the off-season.
And Potter has to do everything he can to move on those who are totally unreliable from a fitness perspective.
Deja vu for West Ham as Maxwel Cornet’s injury problems continue
Maxwel Cornet joined the Hammers from Burnley in the summer of 2022 for around £17 million (Evening Standard).
However, he proved to be a horrendous signing from David Moyes.
Cornet left the Hammers to join Southampton on loan in the summer of 2024, but he was quickly shipped back to the London Stadium in January.
The 28-year-old then left West Ham again to join Genoa on loan, and he made a successful start to life under Patrick Vieira.

However, back in mid-March, Maxwel Cornet suffered a thigh injury, and he hasn’t been seen since.
Maxwel Cornet injury is terrible timing for West Ham
The Hammers desperately need to raise some funds this summer.
Cornet will be a prime candidate for the chop.
And his fine form for Genoa earlier this year was superb for West Ham’s chances of getting a decent fee for him.
However, Maxwel Cornet has shown his frailties yet again for Genoa, and that may well put them off of signing him on a permanent deal from West Ham this summer.
Let’s hope that that doesn’t turn out to be the case.
