Rice reveals all and comments on Tottenham hero Kane in West Ham TikTok Q and A

Given the Hammers star has played with some top class players on international duty with England, it proved a difficult choice.

Speaking in a Q&A on West Ham’s TikTok channel, Rice named Tottenham star Kane, Chelsea’s Mason Mount – unsurprisingly given the pair are best friends – and Hammers teammate Mark Noble as the best he has played with.

The West Ham midfield ace was also asked a few other questions as he revealed his favourite goal, moments and best friend at West Ham.

“My favourite goal I’ve ever scored is my first England goal,” Rice told West Ham’s TikTok.

Rice chooses best goal, best friend and favourite Hammers moment

“Just such a special moment, at Wembley you know, in a European qualifier. To get the win as well so yea it was a really special night. So yea my first England goal.

“My best moment playing for West Ham has to be my first goal against Arsenal. Just the way the stadium erupted, it was a London derby and to get man of the match in that game as well. It was definitely one of the highest points of my career so far.

“My best friend at West Ham is definitely Ryan Fredericks. Been together for three years now. Since the first day he walked through the door you know we got on really well and we’ve grown close ever since, so yea definitely Ryan Fredericks.

“The best three players I’ve played with in my career so far, it’s so hard to pick one so my three are: Mark Noble, unbelievable to play with at West Ham.

“Mason Mount, obviously played with him in my Chelsea academy days and England. And also Harry Kane, unbelievable goalscorer and top player.”

Some may question Noble pick but skipper has been leading light for Rice

You can’t really argue with Rice’s picks of Tottenham star Kane and Mount. Both are top class players.

Some may question the inclusion of Noble. But the West Ham skipper has been the one to guide Rice through his journey from the club’s famous academy to becoming a first team star and England regular.

And Rice will clearly always be grateful.

West Ham fans will hope to see the midfield enforcer’s name back on the teamsheet when the Hammers take on Brighton on Saturday night.

It is a crucial match for West Ham’s hope of staying above the likes of Tottenham and keeping their slim chances of Champions League football alive.
