Declan Rice has taken to Twitter to apologise for missing a penalty for West Ham against Nottingham Forest today.
The Hammers lost 1-0 to Forest and in fairness, we should have at least taken a point from the game.

Said Benrahma had a goal ruled out in the first-half, somewhat harshly. The Algerian also smashed a free-kick onto the bar and Pablo Fornals hit the woodwork too.
Nottingham Forest cleared a Kurt Zouma header off the line as well!

The Hammers skipper has been our best and most consistent player over the past three seasons.
There is no doubting that.

The 23-year-old proved this afternoon that he isn’t infallible though.
Rice missed from 12 yards out and blew the chance to level the scores with around 30 minutes still to play.

Rice has done more for this team than anyone else, certainly since David Moyes was handed the reigns at the London Stadium for the second time in December 2019.
And the penalty miss from Declan Rice for West Ham against Forest will not define him. That’s for sure.
