David Moyes has sent a clear 12-word message to West Ham United fans about the atmosphere at the London Stadium.
The atmosphere, or lack of it at times, at West Ham’s divisive London Stadium has always generated much debate.
Many Hammers fans point to the bowl-shaped nature of the ground, the distances from the stands to the pitch and indeed the upper tier from the lower tier as the key reasons.
Others say the football being played has a big impact.
But there have been some unforgettable atmospheres generated in West Ham’s Stratford home too which shows it can be done.

Are you not entertained?
Manager David Moyes has aimed digs at the West Ham atmosphere on several occasions in the past.
And after the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace he called out the supporters over the lack of noise.
“We’re just not quite getting it (the atmosphere) on Sunday at 2 o’clock here at the stadium,” Moyes said.
“You know we’re finding it really hard to probably build up a good enough atmosphere.
“Maybe it’s that we’re just not playing well enough or maybe just within the stadium.”
When Freiburg came to east London on Thursday they were well beaten 2-0. But their fans left a lasting impression with their non-stop chanting and support.
Now another of Moyes’ dreaded 2pm kick-offs looms against Wolves.
After Freiburg, Moyes has sent a clear 12-word message to West Ham fans about the atmosphere.

‘We need big atmospheres’
And he’s pleading with them to bring the noise.
“We need big atmospheres to give us every chance of getting results,” Moyes told the club’s website.
Let’s hope a sellout crowd makes life difficult for Wolves today and – just as importantly – that Moyes continues with the more front-footed approach adopted against Freiburg.
Because it will certainly help.
West Ham fans feed off the team’s performance. If they see their side giving it a go and pressing the opposition it WILL lift the atmosphere. And once West Ham fans get going they can be like a juggernaut.
West Ham can go seventh with a win over Wolves, kick-off 2pm and live on Sky Sports.
