It’s happened again as West Ham United’s youngsters thump rivals Spurs in the Premier League Under 18s South.

Just over a week on from West Ham’s 2-1 comeback win at Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, the youngsters have gone one better.

West Ham’s Under 18s found themselves 1-0 down at Spurs as they battle for the Southern title.

Tottenham currently top the table, two points above West Ham.

But crucially the Hammers have a game in hand.

And if they win that game in hand, West Ham will go above Tottenham to the top of the table after coming from behind to beat them 4-2.

West Ham fans could be heard goading Spurs with chants of ‘It’s happened again’ during the 2-1 Premier League comeback win.

And it has happened once again after Tottenham took the lead through Callum Olusesi after 23 minutes.

Kevin Keen’s young Hammers turned the game on its head by the halfway stage of the second half, though.

It’s happened again

Elisha Sowumni levelled on 47 minutes before substitute Liam Jones fired West Ham ahead of Tottenham 19 minutes later.

Spurs got themselves back level through Damola Ajayi within eight minutes of going behind but two goals in the final 11 minutes of the game through Sowumni and Mehmet Halim saw West Ham close within two points of Tottenham with that game in hand.

It gets the weekend off to a great start for West Ham.

Now let’s hope the first team keep the good vibes going.

Because victory over Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon will likely see the Hammers go into the top six – and six points behind fifth-placed Tottenham.
