West Ham United manager David Moyes has a huge selection call to make for our clash with Burnley on Saturday.
Burnley play host to West Ham in the Premier League, and it will be a really tough game for us after Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen picked up injuries during the international break – a situation that will most likely force David Moyes into the transfer market in January.
Moyes does have numerous options to fill in for Mikey and Jarrod in an emergency.
The most obvious one is Danny Ings but I’m telling you now, if the 31-year-old starts at Turf Moor, we won’t win the game.
The former Liverpool, Southampton, Aston Villa and Burnley forward is so painfully ill-suited to our system that it makes us such an easy touch to play against when he’s in the team.
Moyes absolutely must avoid the temptation to start Ings this weekend, and he needs to think outside the box…

Moyes must ignore Ings for Burnley vs West Ham
The mere fact that Ings is a centre-forward shouldn’t mean that he’s a shoo-in to start against Burnley, if Antonio and Bowen are indeed missing.
For a start, Divin Mubama should be picked ahead of the ageing, injury prone forward. However, if Moyes isn’t ready to trust the 19-year-old, he has three other options.
Lucas Paqueta, Mohammed Kudus and Maxwel Cornet are all capable of playing through the middle, and they would definitely be better options than the hapless Ings.
Paqueta’s hold up play is far better than Ings’, and the same can be said for Kudus. Meanwhile, Cornet possesses real pace – something that the 31-year-old really lacks.
If Ings starts against his former club on Saturday, I have absolutely no doubts in my mind that we will lose the game.
Moyes has to avoid making what some might think is the obvious decision to start the former Burnley man on Saturday – there are so many better options available to him.
