David Moyes was visibly irked by a stupid line of questioning after West Ham United’s 2-2 Europa League draw with Genk in Belgium.
Two Said Benrahma goals saw West Ham come from behind to lead 2-1 with 10 minutes left on Thursday night.
But a late Tomas Soucek own goal, after some lacklustre defending from Pablo Fornals, saw West Ham pegged back to a 2-2 draw.

It was very much a game of two halves with West Ham markedly better in the second. But overall a draw was a fair result.
And – as the likes of Joe Cole pointed out on BT Sport – it will probably do the Hammers good in terms of experience and guarding against any complacency the further they go in the competition.
Moyes was marking his 1,000th game as manager.
The Scot had just watched his side make it six games without defeat and extend their unbeaten record in this season’s Europa League.

David Moyes irked by stupid line of questioning after West Ham draw with Genk
As it transpired the result also secured knockout football after Christmas thanks to Dinamo Zagreb’s victory over Rapid Wien – with two games to spare no less.
Winning the group looks an inevitability given the remaining fixtures which would secure safe passage to the last 16.
But instead of enjoying the occasion Moyes was clearly irked by a stupid line of questioning in various interviews.
He was asked if he was disappointed with his players and team.

Then he was asked if he was frustrated with the result.
And he was even asked what ‘tone’ he had taken with his players after the game.
A bemused Moyes bit back on each occasion and informed those asking the questions that there was ‘no tone at all because the players have done brilliantly’.
He also hit back at the questions asking ‘Why would I be disappointed’.
The line of questioning was nothing short of laughable.

Moyes has worked wonders at West Ham. But it has been a gruelling campaign so far and he and the Hammers players have managed it masterfully.
West Ham are about to play post-Christmas European football for the first time in 40-odd years and Moyes is being asked if he is disappointed and frustrated?
And the only tone he would take with his players would be one of song from singing their praises and rightly so.
