David Moyes gets the Divin Mubama message loud and clear from West Ham fans after late cameo in Olympiacos win.
West Ham are playing in a tough group and a level up from last season’s Europa Conference League.
So the fact the Hammers sit top of Europa League group A with knockout European football of some kind guaranteed for a third consecutive season is not to be sniffed at.
Even if West Ham did make hard work of their 1-0 win over Olympiacos at the London Stadium.
Lucas Paqueta gave West Ham the win with a lovely volleyed finish to ignite what was a lukewarm atmosphere during a scratchy display which offered little to get overly excited about.

Moyes gets the Mubama message loud and clear
Other than the goal, perhaps one of the biggest cheers of the night came for one of the late substitutes.
David Moyes gets the Divin Mubama message loud and clear from West Ham fans after a late cameo in the Olympiacos win.
Michail Antonio was dropped to the bench after his shocking performance at Brentford.
And young striker Mubama was named on the bench alongside the man who usually – and infuriatingly for many fans – gets on ahead of him in matches – Danny Ings.
Reports have abound that Mubama is refusing to sign a new deal at West Ham having grown frustrated with his lack of opportunities under Moyes.
West Ham fans let Moyes know how they felt about Mubama’s lack of minutes during the Carabao Cup win over Lincoln.

Cheers not jeers for contract rebel and that says everything
And they sent another message to Moyes when the Scot somewhat surprisingly brought Mubama on ahead of Antonio and Ings in the closing stages of the Olympiacos victory.
Other players refusing to sign a new contract at West Ham might expect to be jeered.
But Mubama’s arrival was greeted with one of the biggest cheers of the night.
It would have left Moyes in no doubt that this is what the supporters – raised on the Academy of Footballl – want to see. Giving their new striker hope a chance rather than constantly turning to the ageing men of yesteryear in Antonio and Ings.
Let’s hope it’s not just a one-off and Moyes starts to give Mubama a fair crack of the whip.
With reports David Sullivan is personally intervening in Mubama’s contract situation, let’s see if this helps change the young forward’s mind and stance.
