West Ham United boss David Moyes is said to be on the hunt for an established striker in the summer transfer window.
The upcoming summer transfer window will be a vitally important one for David Moyes, with numerous new signings required at West Ham.
One of the key priorities for the Hammers boss will be to sign a top-class striker who suits his system perfectly, with Danny Ings and Michail Antonio both being linked with the London Stadium exit door.
Moyes has been far too reliant on Antonio over the past few years. Listen, the 33-year-old has been an excellent servant for West Ham, but it’s clear to see that he’s past his prime now.

If we are to make some genuine progress as a club, we need a top-class striker who can perform the duties that Antonio carries out, as well as being able to bag 15 goals or so per season.
And it seems as though Moyes has a very familiar face in line for the job…
David Moyes could bring familiar face to West Ham in the summer transfer window
The Hammers boss has really struggled to find the perfect striker for his system over the past two years.
Sebastien Haller and Gianluca Scamacca have both failed under Moyes, but that’s hardly surprising because they are both target man type strikers who are not known for running into the channels.
And it might not be too long before Moyes finally gets his man.

That’s because West Ham are said to be back in for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri according to a report from Fichajes.
The Hammers fans will be well familiar with the 26-year-old – Moyes has chased him since January 2021, and we came up directly against him in the 2021/22 Europa League campaign.
I think that the Morocco international would actually be perfect for us.
He is hard working, runs the channels, is exceptional in the air and possesses impressive technical ability.
En-Nesyri has bagged 67 goals in 187 appearances for Sevilla (Transfermarkt) – slightly better than a goal every three games, and significantly better than Antonio’s record of 78 goals in 297 games for West Ham (Transfermarkt).
Fichajes claim that David Moyes would have to pay around £17 million to bring the 26-year-old hitman to West Ham in the summer transfer window.
I think that would be a very good deal indeed for us.
