Chelsea posted a pathetic late night dig at West Ham star Tomas Soucek that proves money can’t buy class.
West Ham secured a point at home against Chelsea but the game looks to have come at a huge cost for David Moyes.
Joao Felix gave Chelsea the lead in an opening 20 minutes when they could have been out of sight.
Woeful starts have been a theme of West Ham’s season.
But the Hammers awoke from their slumber and Emerson equalised against his old club with a tap-in at the far post to secure the point.
That did not tell the full story, though.

Chelsea had two goals correctly ruled out by VAR for offside in the first half. And West Ham had what would have been a late winner chalked off by VAR for the same reason.
Going into the game David Moyes was keen to remind everyone about the “rank” VAR debacle which cost West Ham a point in a 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier this season.
So there was a delicious irony when Chelsea were denied a penalty late on at the London Stadium which potentially denied them all three poiints.
A passback of a shot from Conor Gallagher struck Tomas Soucek on the hand as he slid on the floor in the box.
But VAR ruled that Soucek’s arm was in a natural position as he had to use it to support his body as he went to ground.
After the game Blues boss Graham Potter quipped it was a “great save” from Soucek. But he quickly moved on from the incident with a very considered and reasonable take on the situation.

But his media, not so much.
Chelsea posted a pathetic late night dig at West Ham star Soucek that proves money can’t buy class.
The west Londoners went to the effort of finding a FIFA tweet from three days previous asking which of six goalkeepers would be named the world’s best.
And Chelsea’s official account replied to that saying “Tomas Soucek” along with the video of the incident.
Perhaps one of the media team’s teenage children got access to the account?
Both West Ham and Chelsea are massively underachieving this season with results so far proving it’s not what you spend but how you spend it.
After shelling out over £600m on 17 new players since being taken over by Todd ‘Lasso’ Boehly in the summer, though, this kind of behaviour proves money certainly can’t buy class.
