Wins against Freiburg and Wolves in our last two games have put us in a really strong position heading into the hectic Christmas period.
Hammers boss David Moyes has really turned things around it seems, after a poor run of form from September on through until November, and the Scot absolutely raved about two of his players after the game on Sunday – Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus.
Lucas Paqueta and Edson Alvarez have played key roles for us as well this season, and McKinlay has praised those two players, as well as Bowen and Kudus to the hilt…

Billy McKinlay praises 4 players West Ham players
The Scot addressed the media today, during the pre-match press conference ahead of the Liverpool Carabao Cup clash.
And McKinlay admitted that he and his staff are delighted to have the fab four at the London Stadium, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“The likes of Lucas Paquetá, Mohammed Kudus, Edson Álvarez and Jarrod Bowen have received support from the rest of the players. They are obviously terrific players in their own right and we’re delighted they’re here and they’re supported by another group of players who are also doing the job well and support each other as it goes. We’re delighted we’ve got them and the supporters are happy they’re playing well, so long may it continue.”
I think we all take the fact that we have Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen and Alvarez all at the club at the same time for granted.
They are all incredible players, and the Hammers can achieve great things over the next few years, if we keep them all at the London Stadium of course.
Billy McKinlay has highlighted just how important Paqueta, Bowen, Kudus and Alvarez are to this West Ham team.
Hopefully they all show up at Anfield tomorrow night and lead us to the semi-final of the Carabao Cup!
