West Ham United striker Michail Antonio has apparently just received the ultimate slap in the face as he continues his recovery from injury.
Michail Antonio has been in really poor form for West Ham this season, and things went from bad to worse for him last month when he was injured whilst on international duty with Jamaica.

The 33-year-old Hammers forward seems to be on the downward curve of his career now, and the future looks pretty bleak for him under David Moyes at the London Stadium.
That said, when he plays for us, he does bring something to the table that no other West Ham forward can.
Jarrod Bowen is wasted when playing through the middle, whilst Danny Ings isn’t fit to wear the shirt. Meanwhile, Divin Mubama is still far too raw to rely upon consistently.
Antonio won’t be fit to face Tottenham tonight, but could be back in time for our clash with Fulham at the weekend. However, there is some really bad news for Mikey according to one reporter…
Michail Antonio dealt West Ham hammer blow
The 33-year-old is set to be back in contention for our trip to Fulham on Sunday afternoon, according to club insiders Claret and Hugh.
However, he’s the catch – the insider claims that a source has told them – ‘I can’t see the manager picking him anyway’.
Wow what a blow that is for Antonio. He has been a great servant to us throughout the years but it’s clear to see that he’s just not the same player anymore.
Antonio has been incredibly frustrating to watch when playing for West Ham over the past year or so.
I feel like the Jamaica international’s days at the London Stadium are coming to an end, and recent reports have already claimed that he could be moved on in January.
I personally think that would be the best outcome for all parties involved. Moyes could then sign a top class striker in the January transfer window to help take us to another level.
