A Juventus attacker apparently rejected a move to West Ham United in the January transfer window.

West Ham boss David Moyes tried to bring the Argentine youngster to the London Stadium in the January transfer window, but he rejected us.

Matias Soule, a 20-year-old winger, is currently on loan with Serie A side Frosinone from Juventus, and he has been a huge hit at The Stadio Benito Stirpe.

Corriere dello Sport reckon that the Hammers made advances for the South American attacker in January, but he rejected us.

At least it seems like Moyes was trying to bolster his attacking ranks at the London Stadium in January. Unfortunately for us though, he was unable to get any deals over the line…

Juventus star rejected West Ham move in January

It’s a shame that Soule apparently rejected a move to the London Stadium – he’d have been a really exciting addition for us.

The left-footed right winger has bagged 10 goals and two assists in 21 Serie A games for Frosinone so far this season – mightily impressive numbers for someone so young (Transfermarkt).

Soule possesses supreme technical ability, has a real keen eye for goal and plays with a real kind of youthful exuberance that we sometimes miss at West Ham.

He has pretty impressive pace in his locker as well. On face value, Soule has absolutely everything needed to go on and become a real star of the game.

It’s a big shame that he rejected a move to West Ham. Maybe he didn’t want to disrupt his fine form with Frosinone mid-season though.

And it will be interesting to see if the Hammers make another move for him when the summer transfer window opens up.
