The Czech Republic International joined the Hammers on a season-long loan.

West Ham have an option to bring him to the London Stadium permanently next summer for around £12 million plus a potential £5 million in add-ons (ExWHUemployee).

Kral really is a great signing. The 23-year-old is a top-class midfielder and he has all of the skills required to be a real hit in East London.

Hopefully he settles in quickly. And there is no reason why he won’t do exactly that.

Alex Kral opens up on Mark Noble message

The West Ham skipper is well-known for helping new signings find their feet when they move to the London Stadium.

And Kral told the club’s official website how Noble sent him a WhatsApp message immediately after he signed on the dotted line:

“I spoke with the manager [David Moyes], but it was only a short conversation as I am away with the national team. I also spoke with him about how I want to concentrate on the national team now because it is really important for me as we have two qualification games for the World Cup. We were in contact and Mark Noble wrote me a message on WhatsApp welcoming me to West Ham and these small things are really nice for me.”

It’s small things like that which make Noble so important to West Ham United.

The 34-year-old goes out of his way to make the new arrivals feel welcome and comfortable. Perhaps his future role at the London Stadium should be player liaison!

Kral seems like a great lad. And he will be in great hands under Noble’s wing.
