Daniel Sturridge has absolutely raved about one West Ham United player in particular, after our win over Wolves today.

West Ham put in a top-class performance against Wolves at the London Stadium today, and Daniel Sturridge was impressed with one player in particular.

Hammers boss David Moyes would have been delighted with his players this afternoon, after their exertions against Freiburg in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Mohammed Kudus was a standout player for us today – he was absolutely fantastic, and bagged two goals inside the first-half to give us a 2-0 lead at the break.

Fabrizio Romano has already told us just how happy the West Ham hierarchy are with the way that the 23-year-old has settled into life at the London Stadium.

It’s little wonder as to why – what a player we have on our hands. And Sturridge is clearly of the same opinion…

Daniel Sturridge raves about West Ham star

The former Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool striker was a guest in the Sky Sports studio this afternoon.

And Sturridge offered high words of praise for Kudus after his performance against Wolves, when speaking on Sky Sports Super Sunday (December 17th, 2:56pm):

“Kudus picks up the ball, the finish was sublime, absolutely gorgeous. The way he manipulates the ball, half a yard, reverse and he goes to the near post.”

Sturridge is spot on, Kudus is an absolute star and now has nine goals to his name in just 21 games for the Hammers (Soccerbase).

The sky’s the limit for the Ghana international, and if he continues to work hard, he will go on to become a West Ham legend, I have no doubts about that.

Daniel Sturridge was blown away by the 23-year-old West Ham star today, and so were the fans who watched the game. It’s so exciting that we have a player like Kudus at our club.
