Paul Merson has made his prediction for the Manchester United vs West Ham United Premier League clash on Sunday.
The Hammers head to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United this weekend in what is a hugely important game for both sides.
David Moyes will be desperate to address his terrible record of not having won an away match against the so-called ‘big six’ since returning to the London Stadium as manager for the second time in December 2019.
His task will be far from easy on Sunday against Man United.

Erik ten Hag’s men are unbeaten in their last four Premier League games. And the Dutchman has undoubtedly steadied the ship at Old Trafford.
Having said that, I still think they’re beatable. However, it seems as though Paul Merson doesn’t agree with that…
Paul Merson makes Manchester United vs West Ham prediction
The Hammers haven’t won at Old Trafford against Manchester United in the Premier League since 2007, although we did beat them there in the Carabao Cup last term.
Merson believes that Manchester United will have too much for West Ham though.
The well-renowned football pundit told Sportskeeda:

West Ham are a funny team and can be hard to beat, but they haven’t got going yet this season. They can hurt you as they did with Liverpool, and this could be one of those games where the West Ham of last season turns up. On current form, however, I don’t see it. Man United are playing really well – the football’s good, the energy’s good, and I think they’ll win this game.
Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 West Ham United
Much will depend on how David Moyes actually sets up his team.
If West Ham sit back and invite pressure on to ourselves with 10 men behind the ball, there will only be one outcome, and it won’t be pretty.
However, if the Hammers take the game to Man United, then anything can happen. A leopard can’t change his spots though, and Moyes has proven time and time again that he lacks the ambition to really take the game to the big boys.
Paul Merson made his prediction for Manchester United vs West Ham, and as hard as it is to admit, we tend to agree with him.
