West Ham United face a vitally important few weeks ahead of us in the January transfer window.
Julen Lopetegui will apparently be officially sacked by the West Ham owners at some point this morning, and incoming boss Graham Potter has been told that he will be provided with funds to spend in January.
However, it won’t be all about incomings at the London Stadium in the January transfer window.
There’s a lot of deadwood that needs to be moved on in order to boost the January coffers.
If Potter is to come into the club and rebuild the squad, he will undoubtedly need to move on some of the underperforming players.

The Hammers have made some seriously poor signings over the past couple of years.
One of them stands out as being the worst of the lot in my eyes.
And a new update has just emerged on his future at West Ham.
West Ham ace’s agents make January transfer statement
Niclas Fullkrug has really struggled to make an impact with the Hammers since joining us from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
The 32-year-old has scored a couple of goals but in all fairness, he’s looked well off the pace in the Premier League so far.
As a result of his struggles at the London Stadium, West Ham are allegedly prepared to sell Fullkrug in January.
But could we really give up on the big German this early on into his Hammers career?

Corriere dello Sport (print edition January 7th, page 8) claim that Fullkrug’s camp have spoken out and denied that the striker has been in contact with Juventus about a January move away from the London Stadium.
Fullkrug, who earns £98k-a-week (Salary Sport), was a poor signing in the first place as far as I’m concerned.
I’m still hoping that he proves me wrong and succeeds with the Hammers.
I personally think that Niclas Fullkrug won’t be at West Ham for too much longer, although it seems like he won’t be leaving the club in the January transfer window.
