West Ham United are allegedly eyeing up a January move to sign exciting South American winger Jhon Arias.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, Fluminese star Jhon Arias is firmly on the West Ham radar ahead of the January transfer window.
Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to sign another winger in January, with Said Benrahma and Maxwel Cornet both having been frozen out by the Scot.
Cornet has never established himself at the London Stadium, whilst Benrahma certainly has. However, he has barely played this season, and is apparently extremely frustrated at his lack of game-time.
West Ham signed the Algeria International from Brentford for around £25 million (Goal), but I kind of feel like his time at the London Stadium is coming to an end.
And if Moyes brings Arias to the club in January, Benrahma will almost certainly find himself shipped out of the club in my opinion…

West Ham reportedly eye move for ‘offensive delight’ Jhon Arias
TEAMtalk reckon that the Hammers are battling Leeds and Rangers for the 26-year-old winger’s signature this winter.
He has been on fire for Fluminese this season, with nine goals and 13 assists in 53 games to his name (Transfermarkt).
The Brazilian season ends in December, so West Ham should have a great chance of signing him, if Moyes really wants to bring him to the London Stadium.
Target Scouting once described the 10-capped Colombia international as an ‘offensive delight’. He can play on both wings as well.
And if the Hammers do sign the fleet-footed Colombian, the end will surely be nigh for Benrahma.
The Algerian attacker has flattered to deceive pretty much every single time he has taken to the pitch this season.
Jhon Arias would be a huge upgrade on West Ham winger Benrahma in my opinion, so I’ll be more than happy if Moyes signs the 26-year-old in January.
