One West Ham united shouldn’t be anywhere near the squad going forward after his abysmal showing against Nottingham Forest today.
Nottingham Forest away was never going to be an easy game for West Ham, but it was one that we really needed to win.
Things were looking so bright for the Hammers around seven weeks ago, when we were sitting pretty inside the top six of the Premier League table.
However, things have gone south since then, with no wins and David Moyes having failed to adequately strengthen his squad in the January transfer window.
The Scot made another huge mistake today, and that was starting the hapless Michail Antonio. The 33-year-old was absolutely abysmal, and he shouldn’t be anywhere near the West Ham squad ever again as far as I’m concerned…

West Ham man had a stinker vs Nottingham Forest
Wow, what an absolutely awful performance that was today from the Jamaica international.
The former Forest man has been out injured since November, so the fact that Moyes threw him in from the start today was baffling to begin with.
Unsurprisingly, Antonio looked well off the pace, and his first touch was laughable at times.
He broke away on goal at one point in the first-half with just one Forest player ahead of him, and he ran straight into his opponent – awful from Antonio.
He was hooked on 76 minutes and replaced by Maxwel Cornet – a player who has absolutely no trust from Moyes, so that tells you all you need to know about his display today.
Antonio only had one shot, and that didn’t find the target. He was dispossessed four times and had three unsuccessful touches (Who Scored). For context, no other player on the pitch from both sides was dispossessed or mis-controlled the ball more than the 33-year-old Hammers forward.
Basically, everything he touched turn to…the opposite of gold, whatever that is!
The West Ham forward needs dropping after his performance against Nottingham Forest today. In fact, he shouldn’t be anywhere near the squad in my opinion. He’s not fit to wear the shirt anymore, it really is as simple as that.
