Things are looking incredibly bleak for West Ham United right now, after Saturday’s woeful performance away at Wolves.

Nuno Espirito Santo has a multitude of problems on his hands at West Ham right now and the 3-0 defeat to Wolves highlighted just how poor his team really are.

Premier League survival now seems like a pipe dream and that’s just not good enough considering where we were merely two years ago.

Rumours have been circulating that Nuno could be sacked by West Ham if results don’t improve.

If you could replace Nuno with one out-of-work manager, who are you picking?

And why?

And it would be no surprise if he lost his job before Saturday turns into Sunday.

There is absolutely no defence for what went on at Molineux on Saturday.

Jarrod Bowen should not be West Ham’s captain for a start, but the issues run much deeper than that.

West Ham fans will be seething after incident during Wolves defeat

Today was more than just three points dropped.

That was an abomination of a performance – one that really didn’t sit right from start to finish.

The worst thing about our defeat was that not one single player put everything on the line today and when that happens in the Premier League, defeat will be the only outcome.

Former Celtic striker Andy Walker, who was on co-comms duty for our defeat to Wolves, noticed a frightening problem that West Ham have right now.

He said: West Ham can work harder. They’re a yard off. Wolves have been good but West Ham have been miles off it. Come on, professional pride.

Look at those fans who have travelled to support their team. The very least you can do in every game-day is give it your all. I think these West Ham players could do more. I think they could work harder.”

The Scot then turned his attention to Fernandes.

I’ve just seen Fernandes lose the ball, his attitude was awful, Walker fumed.

He lost it and just stood still for a few seconds. Help your teammates out and get back.

The reason why West Ham will most likely get relegated this season was summed up perfectly by Walker right there.

When things get tough, none of these players want to know.

West Ham players failed to show up at Wolves

Every single one of them went missing out there at Molineux and that is quite simply unacceptable.

Forget Man of the Match, who was the WORST West Ham player today?

And tell us why in the comments

Players not performing to their best levels is understandable at times but not putting in 100 per cent effort, especially given the situation we’re in right now?

That’s just unforgivable.

Whether West Ham are relegated or not come May, a lot needs to change in the summer.

A complete rebuild is required from top to bottom at the London Stadium, both on and off the pitch if we’re being honest.

West Ham’s defeat to Wolves, and the embarrassing way in which the team capitulated as a whole, will leave a bad taste in the mouths of Hammers fans.
