Robbie Savage could not believe West Ham United were denied a stoppage time equaliser for a Pablo Felipe foul on David Raya during Sunday’s heartbreaking loss at home to Arsenal.
Callum Wilson thought he had rescued an invaluable point for the Hammers as the clock ticked past 90.
A Jarrod Bowen corner was fumbled by David Raya in the Arsenal goal. And, two weeks after Wilson popped up to see off Everton in time added on, the veteran striker appeared to have repeated the trick when his fierce volley crossed the line.

The right call? Or harsh on Pablo?
After a lengthy VAR review, however, referee Chris Kavanagh would rule that the luckless Pablo Felipe had fouled Raya before the ball fell to Wilson.
A decision Robbie Savage, it is fair to say, does not agree with.
Robbie Savage thinks Callum Wilson’s West Ham equaliser should have counted

“Not a foul,” the former Blackburn, Birmingham and Derby County midfielder said on BBC Radio 5Live. “It took about 25 times to see it. Is it a clear and obvious error? No.
“The ref hasn’t given it on field. He’s gone to VAR, it’s taken so many replays it can’t be a clear and obvious error.
“I think that is one of the biggest VAR decisions we have seen so far. Ever. It’s not clear and obvious. Not a foul. Not a foul. The keeper has got to do better there.
Sum up your feelings on that result if you can… 😢
Heartbroken is an understatement! 💔
“That happens every week, the keeper got two hands to it, catch it. This will be a debate forever.”
The irony, of course, is that Arsenal have escaped punishment for countless identical situations all season long. As Savage says, this is a discussion that will rumble on for time immemorial.
