West Ham fans took to Twitter to praise Manuel Lanzini after his brilliant performance against Leeds in the FA Cup this afternoon.

The 28-year-old Hammers ace has been in magnificent form over the past few weeks or so.
And Manu was at it again against Leeds at the London Stadium in the FA Cup third round clash this afternoon.

Lanzini was absolutely superb against the Whites. He dropped deep and totally dictated the tempo of the game against Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
The way in which he received the ball on the half turn was a pleasure to watch. It really does seem as though we have the old Lanzini back.
The Argentinian ace broke the deadlock for West Ham with a well-taken goal after 34th minutes. The diminutive 28-year-old play-maker now has six goals and two assists to his name in just 1200 minutes action for the Hammers so far this season (Transfermarkt).

Our little diamond clearly has a very important role to play for the Hammers between now and the end of the season.

David Moyes will be delighted with the way in which the 28-year-old South American has rediscovered his form.
His display against Leeds this afternoon was further evidence that Manu is 100% back to his absolute best.
When he’s at his best, there aren’t many better in his specific position in the Premier League.
