Some West Ham fans have blamed Pablo Fornals for the role he played in Manchester United’s equaliser last night.

It was an astute observation by one fan. But to say it is harsh is an understatement…
Fornals was poor in general last night.
But at the end of the day, Manchester United’s equaliser should have been chalked off because the ball from Dean Henderson clearly went out of play by a good two yards.
West Ham performed so well in the first-half but our levels dropped during the second 45 minutes at the London Stadium. That’s why we lost the game.

Having said all of that, however, David Moyes surely must start Said Benrahma in place of Fornals for the Leeds game.
The 24-year-old hasn’t been at his best in recent weeks and the Algerian has done more than enough to be deserving of a chance.
The game against Leeds is a huge one for us now. We must bounce back. Let’s just hope that the players put yesterday’s disappointment behind them quickly.
