West Ham fans react to Sebastien Haller’s display vs Manchester United

Some West Ham fans praised Sebastien Haller for his hard working performance against Manchester United this evening.

The 26-year-old has a real chance to impress now with Michail Antonio out injured.

The Ivory Coast international is an incredibly divisive figure at the London Stadium.

Some West Ham fans back him to the hilt whilst others want him sold as soon as possible.

In fairness, some middle ground needs to be found.

Haller isn’t as bad as some Hammers fans make out. In fact, he is a top class striker. He does need to do more, however. At the same time though, David Moyes should really be doing everything he can to get the best out of him.

And the former Eintracht Frankfurt ace showed tonight that he is capable of putting in the hard yards.

The 26-year-old worked hard, offered an outlet for his defenders and led the line with aplomb in general.

Haller needs to just do more of that. The 6ft 3in target man is a real handful on his day.

Sure, he should have finished his chance in the first-half. He will surely start to gobble those chances up, however, the more confident he becomes.
