West Ham United welcomed Liverpool to the London Stadium this afternoon, and some Hammers fans praised Craig Dawson after his solid performance against the Premier League champions.

The Hammers hardly saw the ball against the Reds.
David Moyes men looked very comfortable defensively in the first-half.
Liverpool turned the screw in the second-half, however, and ended top causing to victory.
Craig Dawson’s display was a real positive for West Ham though.
The centre-back has been one of the main reasons behind the Hammers’ improvement since Christmas.
The 30-year-old wasn’t the most popular of signings when he moved to East London three-and-a-half months ago.
He has really endeared himself to the West Ham faithful, however.

The Watford owned ace, who earns £40k-a-week at the London Stadium according to Football League FC, was incredibly solid against the Reds this afternoon. He marshalled Divock Origi, Sheridan Shaqiri and Mo Salah extremely well during the first-half.
He also scored a consolation goal late on in the game.
Dawson is strong in the air and his positional sense really has been very impressive.
The 30-year-old looks like an inspired signing by David Moyes. And the Hammers will surely make his deal a permanent one in the summer.
It is rumoured that he will be available for around £2-3 million – an absolute steal in the modern day market.
