Thierry Henry suggested that West Ham United boss David Moyes should be handed the Manager of the Year award this season, when speaking on Sky Sports Monday Night Football last night (May 3rd, 8:11pm).

The Scot has worked miracles since taking over at the London Stadium for the second time back in December 2019.
There have been mistakes made a long the way but you would be hard pushed to criticise the Hammers boss this season.
West Ham are currently flying high in fifth spot in the Premier League table.
Champions League football is still within our reach.
Thierry Henry raves about David Moyes
Even if the Hammers miss out on Champions League football this season, it will go down as a magnificent campaign for the East London outfit.
And Thierry Henry thinks that David Moyes should be a shoo-in for Manager of the Season:
“For me it has been a fantastic season for West Ham and David Moyes. For me, he is the manager of the season. From where they were and where they are right now, with the team they have. It’s been magnificent. The gap that he had to close with that team and what he’s achieved this season is magnificent.”
Henry is spot on.
For Moyes to have us punching above our weight up in fifth spot is truly remarkable.
Even if we don’t finish inside the top four, the Scot surely has to win the Manager of the Season award.
Let’s hope that we finish the season off in fine style. Three wins and a draw from our final four games may well be enough to earn Champions League qualification.
And surely then there would be no debate as to who should win the Manager of the Season gong!
