Things could be about to get better for West Ham United.

Indeed, this has been a positive week for West Ham, who ended it in fine fashion on Saturday.

A late Callum Wilson winner ensured West Ham beat Tottenham 2-1 in the Premier League to edge closer towards safety.

Callum Wilson at the death!

But who was your West Ham Man of the Match and why?

Nottingham Forest remain five points clear of Nuno Espirito Santo’s side but things are looking on the up for the Hammers, who are showing signs of life at long last.

With new signings already making an impact, Nuno opened the door to further additions when speaking after the Spurs game.

Wilson’s future is also of interest.

His answer was somewhat vague, though he did again suggest that the club remain on the lookout for new signings to further rebalance their squad.

Nuno was pleased with Wilson’s performance but could give no guarantees about his future.

He said: “Every player that is in the building I give them the day off tomorrow. We count on them and support them. They need to help us.”

Callum Wilson could leave West Ham United imminently

On Friday, reports from The Daily Telegraph suggested that West Ham could let Wilson leave imminently

It was even suggested that he could jet out to the Middle East for talks over a move to a club in Saudi Arabia or the UAE.

It remains to be seen what happens, however. That goal took Wilson’s tally up to five this season, so he is showing that he can yet make an impact at the highest of levels.

Though the signings of Taty Castellanos and Pablo Felipe have pushed him down the pecking order, Wilson can still offer something.
