The 25-year-old has proven to be an absolutely vital player for the Hammers since moving to the London Stadium.
Tomas Soucek joined West Ham on loan in January. And the Hammers made the deal a permanent one in July for around £18.8 million (WHUFC.com).

That price is already looking like an absolute bargain.
The Czech Republic international has scored six goals in 26 Premier League games for West Ham.
Tomas Soucek is a vital component of David Moyes’s side both defensively and in the final third.
Hammers legend James Collins absolutely raved about the former Slavia Prague ace, when speaking on Amazon Prime last night (Wednesday December 16th, 19:42):

“He’s been incredible. He’s played every minute, for me as a central defender playing behind him, he’s perfect. He gets up and down the pitch, he’s clever with the ball and doesn’t often give it away and as David Moyes touched on he arrives in the box and scores goals.”
Ginge is clearly a big fan if the 25-year-old midfielder. And aren’t we all.
Tomas Soucek has elevated West Ham to another level since arriving at the football club.
His energy, dynamism and athleticism has given us an entirely different dimension to our play in the middle of the park.
Let’s hope that Soucek continues his fine form for the Hammers. We are such a threat with him in the side.
And West Ham could surprise a few people this season if the Czech continues to produce the goods.
