Ian Wright lauded ‘magnificent’ West Ham centre-back Craig Dawson, when speaking on BBC Sport last night (Tuesday February 9th, 21:28).

The 30-year-old joined the Hammers on loan from Watford in October.
At the time, many West Ham fans questioned the wisdom behind David Moyes bringing Dawson to the London Stadium.
Those critics have now been silenced, however.
We had to wait until December before we saw the Watford loanee in action for the senior team. And he hasn’t looked back since.
Ian Wright raves about Craig Dawson
The 30-year-old centre-back has been an absolute rock for West Ham alongside Angelo Ogbonna at the heart of David Moyes’s defence.
Ian Wright absolutely raved about Craig Dawson, when speaking on BBC Sport last night:
“Dawson has got to get a mention for the way he has played. He has been magnificent.”
Alan Shearer then said how Wrighty shouted at Dawson numerous times throughout the game telling him what a magnificent signing he has been.
The experienced defender has proven to be a really strong addition for West Ham.
The Hammers have the option to sign Dawson for around £2-3 million in the summer according to Claret and Hugh. That is surely an option we will take up.
The 30-year-old is quickly becoming a cult hero at the London Stadium. And that is so great to see considering some of the stick Moyes got for signing him in the first place.
