West Ham earned their first penalty of the season against Sheffield United last night. The Hammers fans were unsure as to who would take the spot-kick with Mark Noble sitting on the bench. Declan Rice confidently tucked the penalty away in the end and ExWHUemployee highlighted how he called it a month ago.

We hadn’t been awarded a penalty before last night since July last year. Michail Antonio slotted that one away at Old Trafford against Manchester United.
It really is astonishing considering the fact that Leicester City have been given 10 penalties in the Premier League this season!

Finally our luck turned last night, although it took loaning a Manchester United player and a rugby tackle to make it happen! About time eh?
