The Hammers co-owner has incurred the wrath of the West Ham fans over the past week by posting a succession of tweets that were taken as a brazen affront to the fanbase.
Gold basically trolled the Hammers fans on two separate occasions. And that really isn’t acceptable behaviour from an owner of a football club.

The London Stadium faithful feel let down by the way in which Gold and his fellow co-owner David Sullivan have run the club over the past five years or so.
The move from Upton Park to the London Stadium was supposed to kick off a new era of success for the Hammers. That has proven to be far from the case, however.
Gold and Sullivan are content with West Ham simply just treading water.
David Moyes wasn’t sufficiently backed in the transfer market in January. It just seems as though the board are happy with mid-table mediocrity and nothing more.

The West Ham fans have been lied to. Broken promise has followed broken promise. And it seems as though the relationship between owners and fans is past the point of repair.
Even when Gold posts what could be seen as a fairly innocuous tweet, the West Ham fans pile in on the co-owner.
