What a player and what a signing he has proven to be…cat kicking scandal aside…
David Moyes brought him to West Ham in the summer from Chelsea for just under £30 million and that already looks like an absolute bargain.

Zouma makes us such a better team when he plays and not only defensively. He carries the ball out of defence so much better than any other defender David Moyes has at his disposal.
And his performance against Wolves this afternoon was arguably the best he has put in to date in a West Ham shirt.
Moyes praises Zouma after display for West Ham vs Wolves
The Frenchman was an absolute rock for the Hammers today and played a key role in our 1-0 win.
Zouma made two tackles, three interceptions, four blocks and an unbelievable 10 clearances. He also won four aerial duels (Who Scored).
And Moyes absolutely raved about the towering centre-back when speaking to reporters after the game, as quoted by Football.London:

“I thought Kurt was exceptional today. Strong, commanding,he had a couple of incredible blocks late in the game when we needed him. He was powerful in the air and agressive at times. He won a great race on a one v one situation in the first half. I thought Kurt played well.”
You can’t argue with that. Zouma really was exceptional against Wolves.
Keeping the 27-year-old fit between now and the end of the season will be crucial to our hopes of finishing inside the top four.
Zouma obviously made a huge mistake not too long ago. But his focus and professionalism throughout has been nothing short of extraordinary.
And if he keeps this kind of form up for the next few years, he will undoubtedly go down as one of West Ham’s best ever centre-backs in the Premier League era.
