David Ginola really impressed by one West Ham player

David Ginola absolutely raved about West Ham ace Michail Antonio after yesterday’s win over Everton, when speaking on Sky Sports yesterday.

The 32-year-old Hammers forward always makes a nuisance of himself and that means that even when he doesn’t score, he is a huge influence for his team.

Antonio will be disappointed with his goal tally since October last year but he deserves a lot of credit for the way in which he pulls opposing defenders all over the place and as a result, creates space for his teammates.

The former Nottingham Forest ace put in a really impressive shift against Everton at the London Stadium yesterday.

He ran the Toffees defenders absolutely ragged and created our second goal after his shot was parried back into the path of Jarrod Bowen.

David Moyes would have been delighted with the attacker’s display. And it seems as though Antonio impressed David Ginola after West Ham beat Everton as well.

The Hammers earned a vital three points against the Toffees yesterday afternoon at the London Stadium.

Antonio played a pivotal role in our victory, despite his failure to find the back of the net.

“He is so important for West Ham. He’s strong and powerful. He has been incredible for West Ham.”

Ginola has got this one spot on.

Antonio is a real handful for opposing defenders. It would be great of he could find the back of the net more regularly though.

David Ginola praising Antonio after West Ham beat Everton shows just how much of an impact he had on the game yesterday.

And hopefully he will really kick on now for the final six weeks of the season.
