Clinton Morrison raved about West Ham United ace Michail Antonio when speaking on Amazon Prime today (January 16th, 14:42).

The powerful 30-year-old attacker is so important to the way in which the Hammers play.

If David Moyes could build a striker from scratch that suits his system he would end up with Michail Antonio.

West Ham really missed the former Nottingham Forest ace when he was out injured.

He doesn’t stop working and offers such a great outlet for our defenders when we are under the cosh.

Antonio isn’t a bad finisher either.

Michail Antonio really impresses Clinton Morrison

The 30-year-old scored the Hammers’ opening goal against Burnley today, taking his tally to 13 goals in his last 21 Premier League games for West Ham.

Clinton Morrison raved about Michy, when speaking on Amazon Prime today (January 16th, 14:42), labelling him as the Hammers’ ‘main man’:

“He is the main man. I know Michail Antonio and he would like to be the main man. I played a lot with him at Sheffield Wednesday. If you would have told me he’s doing this well I would have been hugely surprised because he is a winger. But he has converted himself as a centre-forward and he’s doing brilliantly and he works so hard at his game. Now he is a Premier league striker and I like all the goals he scores.”

If West Ham are to finish inside the top seven this season it will be vital for Michail Antonio to remain fit between now and May.

David Moyes has to use him sensibly. Signing a new striker this month will be so important as well.

Antonio is the Hammers’ main man though. And even if we do sign a new striker, the 30-year-old will still be absolutely vital to West Ham’s cause for the next few seasons.
