Luka Jovic rejected a loan move to West Ham before rejoining Eintracht Frankfurt according to a report from Frankfurter Fundschau.

The 23-year-old joined Real Madrid from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2019 for around £55 million (AS).
The Hammers wanted to sign the Serbian striker on loan this month according to a report from Caught Offside.
Jovic rejoined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, however. So West Ham’s hopes of signing the Serbia International are over for now at least.

Frankfurter Fundschau suggest that the 23-year-old Real Madrid hitman rejected a move to the London Stadium in favour of returning to the Bundesliga outfit.
West Ham missing out on Luka Jovic isn’t a bad thing
In truth, the Hammers fans shouldn’t be upset that we missed out on the Los Blancos striker.
Had we signed him, it would have been a crazy decision, considering the fact that we sold his old mate Sebastien Haller last week.
The duo forged a wonderful partnership during their time together in Frankfurt. During the 2018/19 campaign, in 89 combined appearances, Jovic and Haller racked up a very impressive 47 goals and 19 assists between them.

Reuniting the two strikers would have made so much sense. Selling Haller and then signing Jovic, however, would have been a baffling move from West Ham.
The 23-year-old Serbian, who earns £85k-a-week (Defensa Central), is undoubtedly a real talent.
If West Ham ever do make an attempt to sign him, however, we had better have a plan to utilise him properly. We certainly didn’t have that with Sebastien Haller. And that ended up costing us around £25 million.
At least we won’t be making the same mistake with Jovic. Not this month at least…
