This result certainly gives West Ham a platform to build on, as winning breeds confidence, and new signing Castellanos was among the goals as well.
Next up for Nuno’s side is a London derby against arch rivals Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
Following that, they take on Sunderland and another London derby against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge to end the month.
How will West Ham shape up for the Tottenham game?
Nuno fielded a pretty strong side against QPR, but will make a few changes as the Spurs game is not going to be as easy.
Ezra Mayers did decently at left wing-back, but he could be replaced by Kyle Walker-Peters or Ollie Scarles.
Konstantinos Mavropanos also picked up a serious injury that would rule him out of the game.
The Greece international’s absence means that Nuno could move to a back four, and Lucas Paqueta is expected to return to the playing eleven.
While Spurs are struggling, they go into the game as favourites, so the Hammers boss will need to have a plan in order to capitalise on their misery.
They have shown frailties in defence and have not been the best at defending set pieces, which could be an avenue Nuno looks to exploit come Saturday.
This certainly sets up a spicy encounter between two sides who find themselves at the wrong end of the table.
