Ben Johnson absolutely raved about his West Ham teammate Said Benrahma after last night’s 2-0 win over Bournemouth.

The Hammers earned a valuable three points against the Cherries and as a result, we climbed up to 10th place in the Premier League table.

One of the main reasons for West Ham’s important victory at the London Stadium was the magnificent Said Benrahma.

The 27-year-old was quite simply superb for the Hammers. Despite his tremendous display, David Moyes still found it impossible not to take a couple of sly digs, whilst praising him after the game.

Fortunately for the Algerian though, his teammates understood just how good he was last night.

Jarrod Bowen labelled Benny’s performance against Bournemouth as ‘brilliant’.

And now another of Benrahma’s teammates has raved about his display as well…

Ben Johnson loves ‘magic’ West Ham teammate Said Benrahma

The 22-year-old right-back put in a more assured display for the Hammers last night than he did against Liverpool in midweek.

Johnson was clearly very impressed with one of his teammate’s displays.

Said was magic tonight. Hopefully, he can continue his form and get more goals. He has always been a goal threat, but it is just making that more consistent.

Johnson is right.

Benrahma is so good, that he really does need to be getting close to 10 goals and 10 assists every single season.

Hopefully he’s on penally duties now for the foreseeable future and free-kicks as well. That should help him get into double digits for goals and assists.

Hopefully David Moyes puts an arm around him behind the scenes and tells him just how good he was last night. Benny needs the trust from his manager, and the freedom to go out, express himself, and deliver the goods.

Ben Johnson’s comments on Said Benrahma prove just how important he is for West Ham.

Hopefully we will now start to see the best of the Algerian on a consistent basis.
