West Ham welcome Aston Villa to the London Stadium in the Premier League for the two o’clock kick-off this afternoon.

The Hammers desperately need the three points today in order to remain in contention for a top-four finish.
Aston Villa will represent a very stern test, however.

Steven Gerrard has done a brilliant job since taking over at Villa Park and he has his team purring.
The Villans have won their last three Premier League games in a row, scoring nine and conceding none.
Villa really have looked very good in recent weeks with Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho firing on all cylinders.
West Ham have a great record against Aston Villa though. We haven’t lost in our last six meetings with them and have won the last three.
It will be a tough game this afternoon no doubt. We think the boys will bring home what would be a massive three points though.

David Moyes has made two big changes for this afternoon’s clash with Villa.
In come Said Benrahma and Lukasz Fabianski in place of Nikola Vlasic and Alphonse Areola.
Nothing less than a win will do if we are to keep our top four hopes alive.
Some might think that the players’ minds may be on Thursday night’s clash with Sevilla but they absolutely cannot afford to be thinking about anything other than Aston Villa today.
The West Ham starting lineup vs Aston Villa is more than strong enough to get the job done today. Let’s hope that every single player is up to the task.
