West Ham get a major boost for Man City after a Pep Guardiola admission but the Hammers still need a miracle.
Consecutive defeats have put a dent in West Ham’s recent revival.
And the form book says it will be three in a row when West Ham travel to title-chasing Manchester City in midweek.
Fans and pundits such as Joe Cole have understandably said West Ham need a miracle to come away from Man City with anything.
With the pressure still very much on the Hammers in the battle to avoid relegation, it promises to be a nerve-wracking finals few weeks of the season.
It looks like West Ham will need one more win to seal Premier League survival.

West Ham get major boost for Man City after Pep Guardiola admission but Hammers still need a miracle
That is clearly highly unlikely to come at Man City – even if stranger things have happened in football.
But there might be a twist in the tale yet.
West Ham get a major boost for Man City after a Pep Guardiola admission but the Hammers still need a miracle.
Speaking ahead of Manchester City’s game against Fulham on Sunday, Guardiola revealed that star man Kevin de Bruyne is out injured for the foreseeable future.
Guardiola did not put a timescale on the brilliant Belgian’s return. But he told Sky Sports his midfield talisman ‘does not feel good’ with the injury.
That means he must be extremely doubtful for the West Ham clash in just 72 hours time.
And that can only be great news for West Ham given De Bruyne’s huge influence on his side.
That has been clear for all to see with Fulham – at the time of writing – showing West Ham it is possible to give Man City a game without De Bruyne.

Fulham give Hammers hope of facing De Bruyne-less Man City
Despite falling behind after just three minutes to an Erling Haaland penalty, Fulham got back into the game and were holding their own at 1-1 until Julian Alvarez made it 2-1.
A point for West Ham at the Etihad would be as good as a win.
Without De Bruyne, West Ham’s chances are surely vastly improved.
But Moyes and his side will still have to worry about the 11 other top class world stars they come up against.
Should Fulham hold Man City it would also pile pressure on Guardiola’s men in the title race when they do face West Ham.
How that might influence things remains to be seen.
