A Sky Sports reporter has delivered a major update on an injured West Ham duo live on TV ahead of the Man City clash.
West Ham face arguably the toughest test they will all season when champions and treble winners Man City visit the London Stadium this Saturday.
We are now 72 hours out from a return to Premier League action after the tedium of the international break.
Widely regarded as the best team on the planet – something they will get a chance to prove at the Club World Cup in December – Manchester City sit above the Hammers by two points in the fledgling Premier League table.

Hammers had two injury doubts ahead of Man City test
West Ham have already proved themselves to be one of the form teams so far this season.
And both the Hammers and Man City have made unbeaten starts.
David Moyes had two big injury concerns to key players Vladimir Coufal and James Ward-Prowse.
Ward-Prowse was given the week off from training after picking up a knock last Monday.
And Coufal withdrew from the Czech Republic’s squad to face Hungary when he picked up a “small” injury too.

With no proper, top quality right-back cover and Man City’s array of talent down that side, Coufal’s potential absence was an obvious cause for concern.
Ward-Prowse’s injury is a worrt too given the brilliant start he has made to life at West Ham with three assists and a goal in his first four games.
Not to mention his crucial delivery from set plays.
But now a Sky Sports reporter has delivered a major update on the injured West Ham duo live on TV ahead of the Man City clash.

‘It looks like he’s past that’
And it’s great news for the Moyes and the Hammers.
“There’s a few players who have been on international duty…” Sky Sports reporter James Green said as he watched West Ham’s players training at Rush Green.
“We’ve seen Vladimir Coufal who did come off injured for the Czech Republic but he’s in training so it looks he’s past that little knock.
“There were reports that James Ward-Prowse was carrying an injury too. But he’s out here training with the players.”
Great news about two absolutely key stars ahead of the daunting task that awaits against Manchester City – for whom boss Pep Guardiola returns to the dugout after a two-game absence following back surgery.
This is how we think Moyes must line up his West Ham side to face Man City at the weekend – do you agree?
