West Ham United boss David Moyes looks set to make an unpopular change for the visit of West Bromwich Albion tonight.

Benrahma seems unhappy and detached as cynics circle but it can and will work

Big Sam Allardyce returns to West Ham with the Baggies off the back of a morale boosting 3-2 win at Wolves.

West Ham will present an entirely different proposition for West Brom, though, having made their best start to a top flight season for 22 years.

Hammers in fine form, Antonio to start

Moyes’s side are looking organised and solid having kept four clean sheets in a row.

The Hammers have won their last three games in a row 1-0.

And West Ham are looking to make it three consecutive Premier League wins after victories over Burnley and Everton.

Bar Michail Antonio and Arthur Masuaku, Moyes has generally been quite fortunate with injuries this season.

The good news is Antonio – West Ham’s only senior striker – will play after Moyes praised his ‘robustness’ in his pre-match press conference (whufc.com).

Moyes to make one big change which will not be popular among fans

But Moyes looks set to make one big change for the game which will prove unpopular among many West Ham fans.

Said Benrahma looks set to be dropped with Manuel Lanzini coming into the side.

It means Pablo Fornals – who was excellent against Burnley – will move back out to the left hand side in Benrahma’s place.

Many West Ham fans feel the Algerian is being harshly treated by Moyes.

He worked his socks off in the win over Everton and was one of West Ham’s best players against Burnley.

Benrahma left the field dripping with sweat after putting in a real shift for the team against Sean Dyche’s men.

But Moyes appears ready to drop him after once again publicly questioning his performance level and decision making in his pre-match press conference (Claret & Hugh).

Benrahma unhappy as Moyes continues taskmaster approach

Benrahma looked extremely unhappy after being subbed off against Burnley. So this will not brighten his mood.

Moyes is continuing the taskmaster approach to managing the playmaker.

Lanzini had little impact when he came on against the Clarets.

And West Ham fans want to see the shackles taken off Benrahma so he can start to shine.

They say never change a winning team. And beyond that Moyes looks set to name the same line-up that started against Burnley on Saturday.

Predicted West Ham starting XI vs West Brom:

Fabianski, Cresswell, Ogbonna, Dawson, Coufal, Soucek, Rice, Lanzini, Fornals, Bowen, Antonio.
