West Ham go into the game against bitter rivals Tottenham on a high after beating Sevilla on Thursday night to make the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
West Ham’s shallow squad was stretched to the limit and taken to extra-time as Moyes’s boys set up a quarter-final against Lyon.
Tottenham comfortably beat Brighton on Wednesday night and have had an extra day of rest ahead of the West Ham clash.
The match is huge in the race for the Premier League’s European spots.
West Ham will be without Jarrod Bowen for the big London derby. And two key factors could come into Moyes’s thinking for the game with Spurs.
Firstly the form of Tottenham’s deadly duo Harry Kane and Heung Son min and January signing Dejan Kulusevski.
And secondly the exertions of his players in recent weeks, culminating in Thursday night’s epic and draining win over the second best team in Spain.
The likes of Declan Rice were seen hobbling after the game which says everything about the energy West Ham expended to make it through.
Moyes will go one of two ways today.
It will either be his strongest available team regardless of potential fatigue. That would mean one change, just fab Lukasz Fabianski coming in for Areola.
But we think Moyes makes three changes and a West Ham formation switch if he decides to shut up shop for Spurs.

The first change will see West Ham number one Lukasz Fabianski come into the side in place of the brilliant Alphonse Areola – who pulled off a stunning save that was worth a goal against Sevilla.
The second change will also result in a formation switch which will see West Ham shut up shop in a bid to contain the likes of Kane and Son while aiming to hit Spurs on the counter attack.
Issa Diop will come into the side in place of Said Benrahma and line-up as part of a back three alongside Craig Dawson and Kurt Zouma.
Aaron Cresswell is too important to be rested so will most likely start again.
Ryan Fredericks may get a surprise start in place of Ben Johnson in a third change from the side that started against Sevilla.
Fredericks is ideally suited to the right wingback role with his pace and will freshen things up if Moyes wants to rest some weary legs.
Moyes did recently state he is going to select West Ham’s strongest available team for every game between now and the end of the season.
Just Fab in one change if Moyes sticks to 4321
But he also stated the Hammers will have to adapt depending on who they are playing.
If Moyes does not switch formation then he may only make one change, Fabianski coming in for Areola.
