Hammers boss David Moyes has delivered a West Ham injury update for Spurs after Declan Rice was spotted limping.

West Ham go to bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in what promises to be a potentially massive six-pointer in the race of the European places.

West Ham sit sixth going into the game with Spurs in seventh. Both sides are level on 48 points with West Ham having a slightly superior goal difference to Tottenham.

David Moyes’s side go into the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium off the back of a win over Aston Villa in the Premier League last time out and and that epic 2-1 Europa League last 16 victory over Sevilla on Thursday night.

West Ham put a lot into the Sevilla game to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg.

Tomas Soucek pulled the tie level in the first half. But West Ham had to play extra-time until Andriy Yarmolenko’s emotional late winner put Tottenham’s rivals into the last eight of the competition.

After the Sevilla game brilliant West Ham talisman Declan Rice was seen hobbling sparking fears he may be a doubt for the trip to Tottenham.

Footage during BT Sport’s live coverage showed Rice limping to be interviewed following the Europa League triumph.

Now Moyes has delivered a West Ham injury update for Spurs after Rice and some of his teammates were spotted limping.

“We’ve got a few people limping but you’d expect that after a tough game,” Moyes said in his pre-match press briefing (whufc.com).

“We’ll assess them all this morning and see how they are.

“It’s a bit early to ask me about the team, but that’s the way it is.”

Given Rice played in Sevilla last week having dragged himself off his sickbed, one would think it will take a lot more than a bit of cramp or muscle tightness to keep the midfielder out of a game against Tottenham.

West Ham will certainly need him and their other key players fit and firing if they are to get a result.

Spurs are showing signs they are slowly but surely coming to terms with what Antonio Conte wants from them.

And with the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in superb form, it will be no easy task for the Hammers.

Whoever wins will go above Manchester United into fifth and could go fourth depending on Arsenal’s result at Villa.
