Everton will be delighted as West Ham get a huge final day incentive with all eyes on David Moyes’ team selection.

Once again West Ham will have a huge say in the Premier League fates of Everton and Leicester City this weekend.

It is two from three to drop on the final day between Everton, Leicester and Leeds United.

The Hammers did both Everton and the Foxes a big favour last weekend with a 3-1 win over Leeds.

And this weekend sees West Ham go to Leicester where Everton will be hoping for more help from their former boss David Moyes.

The major worry for Everton was that West Ham seemed to have little but pride to play for as well as more than one eye on their huge European final against Fiorentina on June 7th.

That has changed dramatically overnight, though.

Everton will be delighted as West Ham get a huge final day incentive with all eyes on Moyes’ team selection.

Woeful Chelsea’s 4-1 defeat at Man United on Thursday night means West Ham now only need a three-goal swing to finish above their fierce rivals should they beat Leicester.

With Chelsea facing Newcastle – who will be gunning for victory to try and finish third in the table – the final day could also be worth as much as £4m to the Hammers.

With each Premier League position worth around £2m in prize money, West Ham will be highly motivated to beat the Foxes and potentially jump to 12th above Chelsea and Wolves.

£4m and finishing above Lampard and Chelsea – that’s huge for Hammers

That would give West Ham fans bragging rights over the Blues having spent so long in the shadow of their London rivals.

It means Moyes could be highly likely to field a strong side at the King Power – which will be music to the ears of Everton and boss Sean Dyche.

The Hammers hierarchy have already made it clear this week that they want Moyes to push for the highest possible finish.

Even a one-goal win for West Ham and a defeat by a couple of goals to potent Newcastle would be enough for the Hammers to leapfrog Frank Lampard’s side.

Because West Ham have a superior goals scored record to Chelsea.

After the struggles of this season, finishing above Chelsea and making a European final – suddenly things don’t seem so bad for West Ham after all.

Moyes could also cement his status as an Everton hero if he does the business for his old club again.
