The Sun reported earlier this week that the 28-year-old is a doubt for the Hammers’ run-in.

The Manchester United owned star has allegedly been suffering with aching legs during training – a problem that has required constant attention.

Lingard has been so important for David Moyes since moving to the London Stadium on loan from Man United in January.

The 28-year-old has firmly established himself as a huge fan favourite in the East End.

So the Sun’s report earlier this week regarding Jesse’s ongoing injury problems would have been concerning for the West Ham fans to read.

If the 28-year-old can chip in with a few more key goals, we will have every chance of earning Champions League football.
