According to a report from Claret and Hugh, Lukasz Fabianski is 90 per cent certain to be back for Monday’s clash against Leeds United. And some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the news.
The Polish stopper missed our last game away at Manchester City on Saturday.
That was a real shame because Fabianski has been in superb form over the past month.
Darren Randolph deputised for the 35-year-old at the weekend. Whilst The Irishman is a decent keeper, he is nowhere near Fabianski’s level.
So having the former Swansea City and Arsenal ace back in the for Monday’s clash with Leeds at the London Stadium will be a huge boost for David Moyes.
Since joining West Ham from Swansea for around £7 million in the summer of 2018, Fab has been an incredibly reliable custodian between the sticks.
He is a no-nonsense goalkeeper, and he just gets the job done with minimal fuss.
The 35-year-old has certainly had his ups and downs but the Hammers are undoubtedly a lot stronger when he is playing.
