West Ham ace Arthur Masuaku posts interesting picture on Twitter

West Ham United ace Arthur Masuaku has posted a picture of himself on Twitter during training today.

The 27-year-old has been absent from action since December having been forced to undergo knee surgery.

Masuaku made a fine start to the 2020/21 campaign for the Hammers.

The Democratic Republic of Congo international excelled in the left wing-back role under David Moyes.

In fairness to the West Ham players, they have coped really well without Arthur.

That isn’t to say that Moyes won’t be desperate to get Masuaku back fit, however.

ExWHUemployee claimed earlier this week that the 27-year-old is targeting the Arsenal game on March 21st as a potential return date.

The Hammers insider did suggest that the game against Wolves after the international break will be a more realistic target, however.

Having Masuaku back will be a huge boost for West Ham. His return to the squad will enable Moyes to switch to five at the back again if he so chooses.

And perhaps it won’t be long before the Scot can call upon Arthur once again.

Now, Sunday’s clash with Manchester United will surely come too soon for Arthur.

But who knows? Stranger things have happened.

One thing’s for sure, Masuaku partaking in training again is nothing other than very good news for West Ham fans.
