Captain Declan Rice has shared a worrying verdict on the injury to West Ham star Lucas Paqueta against Chelsea.
West Ham secured a point at home against Chelsea but the game looks to have come at a huge cost for David Moyes.
Joao Felix gave Chelsea the lead in an opening 20 minutes when they could have been out of sight.
Woeful starts have been a theme of West Ham’s season. But the Hammers awoke from their slumber and Emerson equalised against his old club with a tap-in at the far post to secure the point.
A big dampener was put on the match for the Hammers, though, with two star players Paqueta and Nayef Aguerd going off injured.

Paqueta was forced off after falling on his shoulder after just 10 minutes played.
West Ham’s £51m signing was kept out for several weeks with a collarbone injury before the World Cup break.
Moyes told the press after the game he is worried about the situation with Kurt Zouma still out and admits West Ham are down to the ‘bare bones’.
The Scot said Paqueta and Aguerd had shoulder and groin injuries respectively. But he was unsure of the severity.
‘Popped’ Declan Rice shares worrying verdict on injury to West Ham star Lucas Paqueta against Chelsea
Now Rice has shared a very worrying verdict on the injury to West Ham star Paqueta against Chelsea.
Speaking on Astro after the game, Rice said he thinks Paqueta’s shoulder dislocated in the fall and revealed he was in ‘agony’.
“Obviously Lucas, I think his shoulder popped out to be fair,” Rice said on Astro.

“So he was in agony. Obviously I’ve played with Tomas (Soucek) for so long that adaptation was really easy.
“But you know what you’re going to get with me and Tom, we’re going to work our socks off and be really solid and hard to play through and I thought we did really well…
“It was a positive point.”
Obviously Rice is not part of the medical team. So until we hear from them – not that we ever do at West Ham where injuries seem to be guarded like national secrets – we should try to stay positive.
According to Mayo Clinic, if the shoulder dislocation is fairly simple, your shoulder joint will improve over a few weeks.
If surgery is needed a sling is required for around six weeks, gradually working on range of motion and strength. Recovery can take months.
